Lemosho Route

The Lemosho Route is renowned for its scenic beauty and excellent acclimatization profile, making it one of the preferred routes for climbers seeking a more gradual ascent to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Spanning approximately 7 to 8 days, this route offers a diverse and immersive experience through varied landscapes and ecosystems. Beginning at the Londorossi Gate, climbers traverse through pristine rainforests teeming with life, where towering trees and lush vegetation create a vibrant and enchanting atmosphere. The first day’s trek is a gentle ascent through the forest, providing an opportunity to acclimatize to the altitude and soak in the sights and sounds of the mountain.

As the journey progresses, climbers emerge from the rainforest into the heath and moorland zones, where the landscape opens up to sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
