Marangu Route

The Marangu Route, affectionately known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” is a classic path to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, attracting climbers from around the world with its relative ease and comfort. This route typically spans about 5 to 6 days, offering a more gradual ascent compared to some of the more challenging alternatives. Beginning at the Marangu Gate, climbers are immersed in the lush rainforests of the lower slopes, where towering trees and vibrant vegetation create a captivating environment rich in biodiversity.
